We use a nearby abattoir and local butchers, who in a traditional and professional manner, hang the meat for three weeks to increase tenderness and flavour. "Through selective breeding, and as our cattle are allowed to mature slowly and naturally at grass, our beef has a characteristic marbled fat running through the meat, which bastes the product from within during cooking before running off. The result is tender delicious, flavoursome meat which English beef was once famous for". Our butcher, then packs and labels the meat according to your family size / special requirements. Then, using specially insulated boxes your beef is delivered fresh to your door overnight, delivery being charged at cost. A typical 15 kg box fills one upright freezer drawer of dimensions 45cm, 40cm, 18cm deep (18",16",7.5"). |
